Hello My Name Is...

Melissa Weaver

I am thrilled to be working with the students, parents and staff at Colleyville Elementary this year! This will be my 12th year in public education and 1st year at GCISD. I hold a BS degree from Southern Nazarene University, a MS from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and am currently pursuing a second Masters in Art Education.

I most look forward to sharing my love for art and helping students believe in themselves while strengthening their abilities. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, friends and dogs. I also love to travel, play board games, get creative and learn new things.
