What is a Literacy Interventionist?
A Literacy Intervention Specialist is a teacher who works with students needing extra support with literacy. Specifically, we teach students with dyslexia using a multi-sensory approach to learning strategies that will assist them in reading, writing, and spelling. In addition, we work with students in small literacy groups in various grade levels.
